I am an Assistant Professor in Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) in Pune, India. After completing my Ph.D. from IUCAA, I held a Humboldt Research Fellowship in European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Garching, Germany, a Post-doctoral Research Associateship in Durham University in UK, and a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy. My primary research interests are in the field of galaxy formation and evolution, and in particular, in the connection between gas and galaxies.
